The colonial revival-style frame house was built in 1919 and is on the National Register of Historic Places: there’s a lot of unique craftsmanship here. And while you’re in the area, we can recommend the Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar as a great spot for lunch or dinner.
Turn of the Century Bed and Breakfast
At 529 South Fulton St., this lovely bed-and-breakfast is also centrally located to everything that Salisbury has to offer. The place is furnished in period antiques, and the parlor has a gorgeous fireplace with the original marble mantlepiece. It’s a wonderful spot for anyone looking for a place to relax. The entire first and second-floor seating areas are available to all guests and well equipped with Wi-Fi, books, and board games.
The breakfast is absolutely delicious, and the owner is more than happy to adjust to your dietary needs with a little bit of advance notice. The house itself was built in 1905 and is considered one of the finest examples of late Victorian architecture in the United States. The current owner has been recognized by the Salisbury community appearance commission for her contribution to the city with her loving restoration of this gorgeous home.
