The Bronco Sport comes in several trim levels: Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands. The grille has BRONCO lettering, and there's matching lettering on the rear liftgate. All-wheel drive is standard, and both options have an eight-speed automatic transmission. Automatic start-and-stop technology shuts off the engine when you pause in traffic, reducing idling and conserving fuel.
Performance & Capability
With the Bronco Sport, you can drive through up to 23.6 inches of water and tow up to 2,700 pounds when properly equipped. Power steering, traction control, and electronic stability control are standard. You'll also get sand, slippery, sport, eco, and normal driving modes. The Badlands trim has rock crawl and mud/ruts modes. You can add an off-road suspension, an engine block heater, trailer sway control, a Trail Control off-road cruise control system, and off-road tires. The Bronco Sport gets up to 25 mpg in urban areas and 28 mpg on the highway.
Interior
This SUV can accommodate five people. It comes with six cup holders, cargo tie-down hooks, a rotary gear shifter, and convenient sound and cruise controls for the steering wheel, plus up to 65.2 cubic feet of cargo room with the rear seats folded. Opening the tailgate creates a safari-style roof that makes an ideal sunshade for camping or having a picnic.
