Trim Levels of the 2022 Ford Edge
Edge SE
The base trim of the 2022 Edge is built on a 250-horsepower 2.0L turbocharged engine, which is the same powertrain that powers each trim level (other than the top-tier ST trim). An exciting new feature of the 2022 Edge is that Ford has decided to make all-wheel drive standard on even the base trim of the Edge. The SE also comes with great external features like rear privacy glass, LED low-beam headlights, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and more.
The SE keeps it simple but comes standard with Ford’s suite of driver assistance and safety features, including a rearview camera (with a lens washer), automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, and more. The infotainment system on the SE also comes standard with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration, which is a nice touch!
Edge SEL
The next trim level, the SEL, builds on the SE’s great suite of features with some exciting new additions. These include a 10-way power driver’s seat, heated side mirrors, heated front seats (and ActiveX seats all-around), a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and more. This trim level also makes available a series of great feature packages, including an upgraded driver assistance package, Ford’s Convenience Package, and the Adventure package.
Edge ST-Line
The ST-Line takes everything great about the SEL and adds a little sportiness to it. The ST-Line features a sporty exterior, with 20-inch gloss-black wheels, LED signature lighting, and a host of other styling upgrades. In terms of features, the ST-Line builds on everything the SEL has and adds a power liftgate, wireless charging pad, and an available panoramic moonroof.
Edge Titanium
The Titanium trim takes a different route to upgrading the SEL by swapping out the sportiness of the ST-Line for a luxuriousness all its own. Building on the SEL’s features, the Titanium adds a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, a foot-activated power liftgate, dual exhaust outlets, 19-inch aluminum wheels, and available features like Enhanced Parking Assist and ventilated front seats.
Edge ST
The top trim for the Edge, the ST, is all about performance. This is the only Edge trim level that upgrades the Edge’s powertrain: the ST runs on a twin-turbocharged V6 engine that delivers exceptional power and acceleration. The ST also comes with a 7-speed SelectShift automatic transmission, rain-sensing wipers, 20-inch wheels, sport suspension, some new sporty styling cues on the exterior and interior, and plenty more.
