If being eco-conscious as well as sporty is important to you, what’s more impressive than the 2021 Ford EcoSport? This little subcompact crossover has fantastic fuel efficiency so it’s great for the environment, but it also gives you the sleek looks and performance of a typical sports utility vehicle but in a smaller package. 
1. Unexpected Cargo Space
As this is a subcompact vehicle, you probably weren’t expecting a ton of cargo space, right? Lucky for you, there’s actually a ton of cargo space in the Ford EcoSport for its size. There are 20.9 cubic feet straight away, but if you fold down the rear seats this expands to 50 cubic feet. While the former is fantastic for groceries and everyday tasks, the latter lets you pack in suitcases for a trip or crates of groceries after a bulk-buy session. Very impressive!
On top of that, it’s easy to load the cargo no matter where you are. Regular loading is always available but if you need to load or unload on the side of the road, park with the left side of the vehicle to the curb. There’s a left-hinged tailgate that makes things easy no matter where you are.
2. All-Wheel-Drive
A fantastic vehicle needs all-wheel-drive – what if it snows? What if it rains and there’s mud everywhere? You need the extra power. Unfortunately not every vehicle has AWD available on every trim level, which creates a total nuisance. Thankfully there are no nuisances with the Ford EcoSport as all trim levels come with AWD.
Drivers report that the AWD on the Ford EcoSport is especially excellent for people who live in areas with harsh winters or snow year-round. You’ll need to upgrade some winter tires – which you can get from your dealer separately – but once the right tires are on, the Ford EcoSport has the power to deal with whatever weather comes its way.
3. Fast Heating and Cooling
Speaking of cold weather, you need to stay warm in the vehicle in harsher conditions. You also want to ensure you can get cool quickly when summer hits too hard and you start sweating. Luckily the Ford EcoSport’s climate control is one of the best available and the heating and cooling systems are rapid. You can also avail yourself of heated seats on some trims if you need some extra warmth.
One fantastic feature of the climate control system is how it lets you keep your interior at a specific temperature. So, you can switch on the heating and cooling but it won’t keep spewing hot and cold air endlessly. It will adjust the output to maintain the temperature you set.
