2023 Ford Bronco Sport

The Bronco Sport comes in four trim levels: Base, Outer Banks, Big Bend, and Badlands. The grille has BRONCO lettering, and there's matching lettering on the rear liftgate. Other standard features include roof rails, a sculpted hood, skid plates, a rear windshield wiper and washer, floodlights, 17-inch wheels, power manually-folding side mirrors, and active grille shutters. The Bronco Sport comes with up to 8.8 inches of ground clearance. You can add fog lights, front tow hooks, heated side mirrors, a keypad for keyless entry, privacy glass, a power moonroof, a windshield wiper de-icer, and 18-inch wheels. Available colors include Cyber Orange, Area 51, Shadow Black, Alto Blue Metallic, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Cactus Gray, Oxford White, Iconic Silver, Hot Pepper Red, Velocity Blue, and Bronze Smoke.

The three-cylinder, turbocharged, 1.5-liter engine generates 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. A four-cylinder, turbocharged, 2-liter motor that provides 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque is available. All-wheel drive is standard, and both options have an eight-speed automatic transmission. Automatic start-and-stop technology shuts off the engine when you pause in traffic, reducing idling and conserving fuel.

With the Bronco Sport, you can drive through up to 23.6 inches of water and tow up to 2,200 pounds. Power steering, traction control, and electronic stability control are standard. You'll also get sand, slippery, sport, eco, and normal driving modes. The Badlands trim has rock crawl and mud/ruts modes. You can add an off-road suspension, an engine block heater, trailer sway control, a Trail Control off-road cruise control system, and off-road tires. The Bronco Sport gets up to 25 mpg in urban areas and 28 mpg on the highway.

This SUV can accommodate five people. It comes with six cup holders, a 4.2-inch driver information center, cargo tie-down hooks, a rotary gear shifter, and convenient sound and cruise controls for the steering wheel. You'll also get Android Auto, an 8-inch touchscreen, up to 65.2 cubic feet of cargo room with the rear seats folded, voice recognition, and Apple CarPlay. Opening the tailgate creates a safari-style roof that makes an ideal sunshade for camping or having a picnic. You can add push-button start, dual-zone climate control with air vents for the rear seats, a 6.5-inch driver information center, wireless charging, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 110-volt power outlet. A 10-speaker audio system with a subwoofer, SiriusXM satellite radio, and navigation are also available.

The Ford Bronco Sport comes with a rearview camera, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assistance, an SOS post-crash alert system, and blind-spot monitoring. Adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors, and steering assistance are optional. You can also choose a 180-degree off-road camera for a closer look at the trail ahead.
