2026 Ford Mustang

The EcoBoost is the entry-level Mustang. It comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, dual exhaust, LED headlights, and LED sequential taillights. The EcoBoost Premium trim unlocks additional creature comfort features both standard and optional. The GT features dual 3.5" exhaust with quad tips with Active Valve Exhaust and options like a spoiler delete or raised wing and many other style enhancements. GT Premium adds 19-inch wheels with performance tires, a sport suspension, and available Brembo brakes. EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, and GT Premium are available as fun-in-the-sun convertibles.

Mustang Dark Horse puts out 500hp from its 5.0L V8 and includes summer performance tires, Brembo brakes, TORSEN limited slip rear axle, and unique styling treatments to show off its sinister style.

The EcoBoost engine is a 2.3-liter turbo four-cylinder with 315 horsepower. The GT models bump up the power with a 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 that puts out 480 horsepower, and the Dark Horse has this same 5.0L V-8, but massaged to 500 hp. All engines come with a 10-speed automatic transmission, but V8 models are available with a 6-speed manual transmission with rev matching as well.

The standard EcoBoost engine is powerful and provides quick acceleration. Drivers who want a punchier driving experience will love the 5.0-liter V-8, and adding one of the performance packages can also bump up performance. A MagneRide® Damping System is available on GT Premium and standard on Dark Horse. Dark Horse also includes a class-first Drift Brake to really add to the fun.

The standard configuration in the Mustang fits four people. Everyone has a comfortable seat, and the trunk, with its 13.3-cubic foot cargo area, has room for all their stuff. The EcoBoost cabin features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and cloth upholstery, while just a step up to the Premium allows you to option dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, heated and ventilated front seats, and simulated leather upholstery. The Mustang's options list includes carbon-fiber interior trim, ambient cabin lighting, and upgraded leather upholstery.

Every Mustang comes standard with the Co-Pilot360 suite of driver aids. It includes forward-collision warning with mitigation, a blind-spot monitoring system that alerts the driver when a vehicle is in their blind spot, and rear cross-traffic alert. Lane-keep assist is also part of Co-Pilot360, and you also get automatic high beam headlights.

p>Technology features start with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster display, voice controls, two USB ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth for phone and audio, and a six-speaker stereo. The SYNC 4 infotainment system is also standard with a 13.2-inch touch screen display, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an upgraded 9-speaker stereo system.
