The towing capacity of the F-250 is one of the best in the full-size heavy-duty pickup truck market. With the 6.2-liter engine, the towing capacity is 15,800 pounds. The 7.3-liter engine has a towing capacity of 19,500, and when properly equipped, the 6.7-liter diesel engine, the F-250 can tow up to 22,800 pounds. The standard powertrain is rear-wheel drive with the option to have four-wheel drive. If you plan on taking your truck off-roading, choose the Tremor Off-Road Package that features larger tires, a beefier suspension, and an off-road terrain management system.
