As you can see, the Hybrid and Energi trim levels provide the highest MPG ratings, but the S, SE, SEL, Titanium, and V6 Sport trims aren’t too shabby either. Whichever trim you end up going with, you know you’re getting an advanced fuel-efficient sedan.

Performance Features

While the Ford Fusion has excellent MPG ratings, it doesn’t compromise when it comes to powertrain and performance features.

The Fusion V6 Sport comes equipped with a powerful 2.7L turbocharged EcoBoost® engine that produces a whopping 325 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque capabilities.

For those looking for advanced traction control, Intelligent All-Wheel Drive capabilities are available on the SE and Titanium trim levels and standard on the V6 Sport trim with the 2.7L engine. This system works by balancing torque to provide you with increased handling and drivability and actively works to avoid wheel spin.

The available Auto Start-Stop Technology feature will automatically shut off your engine when your vehicle is stopped, but don’t worry, the air conditioning and music will stay on. The engine will start again once you remove your foot from the brake pedal. Basically, this feature helps you increase your fuel-efficiency. It comes standard with the front-wheel drive 1.5L and 2.0L EcoBoost® engines.
